The Sawtooth Timber Company diorama resulted from a tour of the Hull Oaks Sawmill, one of the last steam operated sawmills, and from researching articles in the Gazette on early timber and logging operations.  The diorama includes a sawmill with pond, a boiler house, saw sharpening shack, a log unloading station and On3 railroad that services the timber operation.
